Nice. One of the very few phone apps I've bought is iBird Explorer Pro. It has a wealth of identification tools including all of the sounds birds make. There are records for 938 North American birds. It really feeds the bird nerd in me!

For those of you have never been birding with a pro, it's all done by ear. They listen first, then locate by ear,

then look for the bird. Some can identify birds, by sound, for several different continents. Also, they will

burst out laughing when a movie sound track has birds from the wrong location. I can recognize some birds,

but always feel uneducated when I hear many I don't know, in the morning through the screen.
