My lovely wife today , while out at yard sales and antique stores, picked up this sweet decanter for me, but when I pulled the stopper the cork fell off. It was dryrotted badly. Anyone know if theres something I can use to replace it? Or is there somewhere to send it?

Go to a wine making supply store and find yourself a silicone stopper that will fit over the glass and serve as a much more efficient stopper in a decanter. You may have to modify it a bit but it will work and work well. Cork is only good when its wet.

All good ideas for recorking, but trust me you would rather have rubber or silicone. Cork will fester and harbour bacteria sooner or later.

You could also visit a homebrew supply store, like Homebrew HQ in Richardson. They will have a variety of corks and stoppers you can use or modify.
