So in a variation on a recent theme, I thought I would gather your thoughts on your favorite hybrid blends.
How to define hybrid? Ah, therein lies the challenge. I would define a hybrid as containing at least three different tobaccos, and not being an English/Balkan blend (which would normally contain multiple tobaccos but already has its own specific category), or containing flavored black Cavendish (ie: an aromatic). In other words, blends not easily classified into the typical categories.
So here are mine:
- GL Pease Haddo's Delight

- GL Pease Cumberland

- GL Pease Cairo

- Peterson Irish Oak

- Mac Baren HH Acadian Perique
(And I'll give an honorable mention to GL Pease Barbary Coast) (What can I say.. He has a number of excellent hybrid blends.)

It seems I have very similar taste to Roth and second the types I have tried on his list Grand Orientals Yenindje Highlander and Frog Mortons Cellar. I would also like to add G.L. Pease's Embarcadio and Rattray's Red Rapparee if they qualify (though Embarcadio only has two types of tobacco I believe)
