Well Todd Harris is starting my next commission this coming week. Decided last minute to make it a morta. I saw a picture here of a Heeschen bamboo Dublin that Peck had which really caught my eye. Todd is doing a rendition of this Bamboo Dublin in Morta with a Cumberland stem. Can't wait to see it!

This sounds like it will be a stunner. The Cumberland will really set off the bamboo, too. I look forward to seeing photos when it arrives.

I think the color schemes will all work well together, as well I'm excited to finally smoke a morta.

That sounds like it would be a fantastic combination. I have never seen morta combined with bamboo. Now, would you go for black bamboo or regular bamboo? I can see both working, but I have no sense of colour.

I own 2 Morta pipes with bamboo, the first was a commission with Rad Davis, a canted squashed tomato, and it was his first Morta IIRC, the second is the Beetle from Zack Hamric.

I also had a Morta Dublin made for my by Ed James and it's fantastic, I think matching the Dublin shape in Morta with bamboo is a wonderful combination may it bring you much satisfaction to eye and hand as it gives you smoking satisfaction as well.

Peck, I like the appearance of both bamboo with morta. For this particular piece I want the contrast of regular bamboo.
Banjo, I'm definitely looking forward to this pipe. Now it will be my first bamboo along with my first morta. So I'm certainly excited.
