When I read a tin description, or see a jar of bulk tobacco at a B&M, I often wish I was with a friend who smoked
that blend and could tell me what to expect of it. So in my reviews I try to be that imaginary friend and try to
cover all the major properties such as: type of cut, strength, leaf content (if necessary), nicotine content,
smoothness, smoke volume, mouth feel, taste impressions, and etc. I invariably mention whether I liked it or not,
but I never consider that a very important issue. IMO it's best to use some sort of organizing principle; and many
reviewers take a stepwise approach by describing the experience from opening the tin to the very last puff.
I find myself sitting idly on the line dividing past and future,
as if I could kill time without injuring eternity. -- Thoreau
