I recently ran across a small lot of interesting pipes stamped L.D.G 92 and 93. Has anyone ever seen these before? The pipes were purchased in Nashville, TN. I have searched a bunch but came up with nothing. The only thing I can think of is they might be Laudisi stamped basket pipes?

I haven't a clue what it is, but I do know it's not related to us. We've never stamped basket (or other) pipes 'LDG'.
Incidentally, if anyone is curious, the only time we stamp pipes is:
1) Limited editions tied to Smokingpipes (like our 15th Anniversary Eltangs or 10th Anniversary Cavicchis) get our round Smokingpipes logo.
2) The 'Pipe Rescue' pipes, where we do more work to a pipe than normal restoration, we use SPCR stamp so folks who may end up with it later know that serious work was done to it (and could call us to find out what).
Other than that, we don't really stamp anything. We have some input on series names and the like with factories, but nothing else specific to us.
