I have been into my Kirstens lately and wanted to get another bowl or two. Called Kirsten up and they still are not making any pipes, nor do they have any bowls or really any parts. The guy at the store said probably about another 3 months before they are making parts/pipes again. I know I heard this same thing about 3 months ago. I don't think they're going to come back, frankly. Kind of sad to see another american company bite it.

I don't understand how they keep their storefront open - this is not in a cheap part of Seattle.
I gave up on Kirstens about 3 months ago, after over the phone they took my name and number and promised to call me in a week with a bowl update. No call, same old story. It really is sad.

They have been saying this for over two years now.

In my book they are one step below MacQueen Pipes or Storient.

This is pure conjecture, but Kirsten's main business was making aircraft parts. Since Boeing is busy these days, I wonder if they just don't have the time?

Nope, the designer of the Kirsten pipes worked for Boeing and invented the windtunnel. That relationship was over when he retired from Boeing.
