Thought these were pretty sweet. I didn't know kids could call NORAD.
One little girl said she lived in Newton CT, and could Santa please bring extra presents so she could deliver them to the families that lost children? The volunteer that took the call quickly gathered her thoughts and said if she could get hold of him, she'd ask him.
One boy called to ask if Santa was real. The Air Force Major that took the call said he was 37 and believed in Santa, so if the boy believed in him as well, he must be real. The boy turned from the phone and yelled to the others in the room, "I told you guys he was real!"
A boy called and asked when Santa would drop off toys in heaven. His mom got on the line and explained his younger sister died earlier in the year. The volunteer told him, "I think Santa headed there first thing."
They put some of the best questions on a flip chart:

"What's the best way to booby-trap the living room to trap Santa?"

"Please add my 3-year-old brother to the naughty list."

"When you see Santa, tell him hello for me, I never see him."

"How does Santa make iPads?"
Some servicemen in Afghanistan answered calls for about 90 minutes through a conference call, and had a great time. NORAD lists the specs of Santa's sleigh:
Weight at takeoff: 75,000 GD (gumdrops).
Propulsion: 9 RP (reindeer power).
Fuel: Hay, oats and carrots (for reindeer).
Emissions: Classified.
