I see this brand a lot in the local tobacco stores. It's about the only thing I can find besides CBW on a regular basis. I know nothing of this brand and I see it comes in these really big bags which makes me wonder is it a lesser quality tobacco or is that just there thing? Anybody tried it?

Beware of big bagged tobacco. Often inferior. C&D sells bulk pounds for about $35.00, as does Daughters and Ryan. These are worth your money.

Absolutely agree. Bulk tobacco bought at a pipe store with an actual bar is one thing, but I'd shy away from anything else. Pipe stores usually use (used to, anyhoo) use large bulk bags for their bar tobaccos themselves, so their bulk packaged stuff is good. Stuff in bulk anywhere else I wouldn't trust as far as I could spit the bag. I buy nearly all mine in pounds from my fave store in TN.

Kentucky Select is RYO cigarette tobacco masquerading as pipe tobacco. Basically guaranteed to be garbage by our standards.
