Any KB&B experts here?
I have recently acquired an old cutty style churchwarden pipe. The stamping on the left is CHURCHWARDEN arched over the KB&B clover (ampersand is present). On the right it stamped ITALIAN BRIAR. No other stampings. Pipe is about 8-1/2 inches long.
Pipe is in excellent condition, with a very dark finish, identical to the the churchwarden on the KB&B master list on the the Kaywoodie myfreeforum. Orific bit, no stampings on stem (due to condition of pipe I do not believe that stampings on stem were ever there). Push fit vulcanite stem.
Due to the orific bit, the pipe has to be quite old. Does anyone know when this line of KB&B pipes were made?
Photos to follow later.

Hope this helps a bit.

Thanks, but there just isn't much info there. I really miss the Kaywoodie Compendium, although it is likely this pipe predates Kaywoodie. I'm surprised at the lack of KB&B knowledge on the web, given the size of the company back in the day.
