Now this confused me. I've seen a lot of Kaywoodies but never one like this. No Nomenclature. I was thinking that maybe someone sanded and refinished it but everything seems to line up. There is no step down between the metal in the shank and the wood. I figured that if some material were removed, there would be evidence. Anyone ever see a Kaywoodie with no stamp on the briar?

I have some pipes where the marking are so faint it's as thogh they are invisible, are you sure they'r not there
Nice looking pipe though

It's pretty weird. Complete with an in tact four hole stinger.
You know, I inspected it under three different kinds of light so far and there's nothing. Not even any reminiscence of nomenclature. Could be someone hacked the stem onto a new bowl. I suppose stranger things have happened. Someone smoked the hell out of it. Must be a good smoker. Cleaned up, it sure will be nice to look at too.
