I've recently made quite a few estate purchases. I've been pretty derelict about posting pics having only shown a couple off. I'm going to try to post one a week and here's the first one. I bought a Lot of beat up Kaywoodies and this little unsmoked gem was among them. It still had the $6.95 sticker on it, but looked like it had been knocked around a drawer for 50 years. Well, it cleaned up pretty nice and was a great smoker right from the start -- perfect for a lunch break. The hardest part was evening out the sheen where the sticker had been.

Congrats - it looks great, love the Dublin shape. And pretty neat that it still had the original sticker too.

Nice job. That is one beautiful Kaywoodie. Congrats on an excellent outcome!

Thanks guys! This one is a SuperGrain. Oddly, it's sans shape number. This is one of four nice Dublins in that lot. Stay tuned for future installments of the Kaywoodie Lot Restoration, including a couple bull dogs, a couple pots (one not Kaywoodie), a couple HiBowls, a sitter and a churchwarden! The churchwarden and sitter will take some professional help for a new stem, though.
