I have a kaywoodie that is missing the logo. Does anyone have a 60's era black clover in white circle lying about.

I need it for one of my hi-bowl pipes. I wouldn't care so much if it was of my other woodies. I have thought about getting a cheapo klunker on ebay; But I thought maybe someone here might have a broken stem or two.

Are you sure the Hi-Boles from the 60's actually had logos? I had one, a SuperGrain in an H-9 shape, IIRC, and it didn't have a logo either.

My H7 Pear is missing the logo. My H4 Bulldog is missing, well, it's just missing.
How did you like the H9? Mine still has the price sticker and never been smoked! I will try it out some day.

Ya, that's my H-9 alright! I used it for about 40yrs., but not very much. The bowl heated up too much.

I could never enjoy it because it was too cumbersome -- needing to hold it by the shank with a pencil grip

-- or some other way to avoid the hot bowl.
I hope you fill-out that beautiful collection; but don't feel like you're missing out on some sort of cosmic

experience because you haven't used the H-9.

I do like the blasts on these. There was an H4 on ebay a few weeks ago but I didn't try very hard because it was smooth. Shouldn't matter, I know, but it didn't fit the pattern. I guess I am a little CDO...

Cortez- these are all thin walled but the H3. The corners help give you a place to hold on to. I only smoke flakes in these so they don't get too hot on me. Well, to be honest, I have only smokes the H3 and H6, mostly the H6. I expect them all to burn a little hot with ribbon cuts.

I know you wouldn't want to do it with your "collection" but with some of m pipes where the logo is faded I will fill it in with white fingernail polish, it drys to a hard enamel and on my Grabows it looks factory done, of course that particular Woodie logo would be harder to do.

Well I lucked out and got a replacement H7 with MUCH better grain and, of course, a logo!

Nice set, congrats on the replacement. Dig those old KW's, have the Danish here, still looking for a Belgian.

Here is the new H7. I haven't done any cleaning yet - but look at that grain!
