Bear with me -- first time trying to upload a photo, and I didn't understand the instructions.
And here's my effort at posting it here. *wincing, hope it works*
Didn't. But here's a URL to it:

Okay. Back to the drawing board for me, photo-upload-wise.
But I was going to say, after a good break-in, this turned out to be okay. It's a small chamber, so it's a good lunchtime smoke. Seems to like moister tobaccos, loves aromatics. Get about 15-20 min. from it.
KAF is a Ukrainian company. While I was reading up on it, I saw a post (had to be translated) by a woman pipe smoker in the Ukraine that translated as, "Some day there will be Ukrainian who does not make pipes," indicating to me that pipe-making is a wildcat attempt to make money there. Another smoker said, "Not hard to make pipes. Can make anything, with English and Internet."
Pipe burns cool, dry and mellow. It's in daily rotation now (on short runs or lunch breaks).

I have two pear wood pipes from the Ukraine. My mini-churchwarden is a very quick smoke. I enjoy both pipes.
I hope for peace for this troubled land.
