From what I can tell, this pipe is from the '70s. It's 6 in long. Looks to be lightly smoked. Beautiful birdseye on this one. The seller had many nice clear pics, so I am hoping for a nice pipe. At $22.50, I felt I wasn't taking any big risks.

Here's what I found about the St. Ives in an earlier post:
Back in the late 70's the St. Ives pipe sold for $13.95! The line consisted

of classic English shapes and it was a very good seller. At this time we had

a number of companies making pipes for us including Charatan,

Parker/Dunhill, Sasieni, GBD/Comoy, Butz-Choquin, and Armellini. This time

was indeed a great time for pipe smokers coming into The Tinder Box. My

memory is a little vague on this but I think the St Ives was made by

GBD/Comoy. I know they were great smoking pipes and it is good to hear that

you are still enjoying your St Ives.
Good Luck

My oldest pipe and perhaps the first one I owned is a Tinder Box St. Ives. It's a bit more unusual than this

lovely billiard, but of about the same vintage, and it still smokes well and looks good. Mine is a bent sitter

pot, smooth, with a saddle stem, probably a small Group #4. I think I bought it around 1975/76. I think

this model was about $16. I've always been pleased by its unique shape.

Beautiful pipe, Six. I love the classic pipe shapes and the birdseye kills.
22.50 was a steal for that GBD/Comoy blank.
My Tinderbox burners from that time are in my weekly rotation. I hope your new St. Ives claws its way into yours.

Nice one six. Great birdseye on the flank. If it looks that good in a photo it's going to be a real beauty in person. And $22 Wow! that won't even buy a tin of tobacco in some locals.
