Trying a few interesting variations- this one was a tiny fig- 5.75" long, 5/8" tapered chamber, and coming in at 14 grams...I keep looking at my tin of Penzance thinking I should fire this one up myself....

Yep...coming to that conclusion myself...A very tricky beast- the pics don't give you a scale for how small that pipe is- the bamboo is .30". The carbon fiber tenon is 4mm...time to play some more in the shop....

The stem does seem to overpower the rest of the pipe. I just happened on a large stand of bamboo in the woods near our house - I thought of you!
