   I know this has nothing whatever to do with pipe smoking.

   But, I have a smokin' kid.

   My youngest daughter Lauren is on her High School's Year Book Staff.
   Not only did she make the National Honor Society last year; but her photography and editing abilities have been recognized "PUBLICLY"
   Owing to her efforts the 2011 edition of the Thompson High School Annual has been rated one of the TOP TWENTY High School publications in the nation.

   Way to go!
   That's my Pumkin'

    Thanks everybody...

    I am proud of both of my girls.
    The other just presented the War Department and myself with a grandson.
    She's special too, as is my grandson.

    I know there are a lot of parents and grandparents among us...
    We're all proud of our kids.
    It's icing on the cake when they do something special.

    No... But, she is getting my mine when I kick the bucket.
    It fits her nicely, but I'm not willing to let her learn to drive a bike on mine.
