Hi I just joined.
does anyone out there know where to get a replacement Jima pipe filter? OR do you know what metal they are made of, so I can make one?

To find that you have to search on the net for occasions that disappeared in the years 75/80 ... :|
From memory the filter was a simple stainless steel spring big enough and a little twisted / folded by interval so that coils are in the middle inside way to make braces to slow down the smoke, that's all ...
(It had to be cleaned with alcohol and a rag or an old toothbrush)

what a curious pipe design! Do you replace the middle stem as the filter?

Thanks! I have some shop skills - probably try making something usable. Stainless steel it is.
