I have been really appreciating a lot of Jacono pipes that I've been seeing lately. I like the way they look and I am tempted by a few of them. I don't see anything on these forms about them. Does anyone have one?

Yes sir, I have several (my first was the late 1980s when Tonino had started selling his pipes through McCranie's Pipe Shop in North Carolina). Tonino's family owns a briar mill and Tonino also owns his own pipe shop in Italy. Because of the association with the Briar Mill, Jacono pipes are made from the best briar that comes through the mill. His pipes stems are hand made and very comfortable, too.
I forget what year, but Pipes and Tobaccos Magazine had a feature article on Jacono which included a lot of great photos of his pipes and the story behind them.
And finally, at the Las Vegas Pipe Show, I picked up a beautiful smaller bent poker Jacono from Sally Gottleibson (The Pipe Tart), that my wife stole from me and smokes on occasion. She loves it!
