Wow! I actually got my first Penzance, and at retail price. The shipping charge was high, but I mustn't grumble. Now to see if it lives up to the hype...

There's a hype that's been built up about it that it possibly couldn't meet. When I finally tried it, it was meh. I've smoked many better blends that were readily available that didn't have the hype expectation attached to it.

I could buy a lot of Gaslight for that.
For those that get a tin, I hope it at least partly lives up to expectation.

My cellar now has a sealed tin for aging as well as the open one I have been very carefully conserving since last fall. I was able to acquire from another heads-up last fall. Thanks so much fellow board members! And specifically to you Baccyfart.

glad to help my BOTLs out! i just checked and it looks like it just sold out. i really like penzance. i have "plenty" (a few pounds) in my baccy tupperdor, and not adding anything at present, so i thought i would pass on the tip. i really enjoy this tobacco. oh, and did i mention it?.... i really like penzance.

The only option I got was $52, that's to the UK I should have said. It's still a lot more than SmokingPipes or 4Noggins.
