While I'm still lacking the last 3 I purchased here is what I currently have for bamboo shank pipes, most are briar, 1 is with olive wood, another is Morta and another strawberry wood and finally black rock, or stearite (sic) I plan on finding 1 with Meerschaum but will be very picky on its construction.

The yet to be received are this one by David McCarter Blasted Rhodesian Stack.

I see what you did there, bamboo puns.
I really like the way these look, but don't find myself really wanting one. Very nice collection you have going.

That's a really nice collection: lots of shapes, textures and materials represented in this niche.

I'm not a bamboo guy myself, but that Peter Klein Elephant Foot is about as nice a pipe as I've seen.

ejames said "Whoa!" Now just hang on there partner, I've been mulling the idea of mating a hunk of Mulberry to some of the big bamboo that's floating around and having an Amber colored stem on it, might have to talk to one of the pipe makers I know. ;)

I love the look of bamboo pipes and really like the one I have. You though sir, have a great collection and impeccable taste. It's not very often I see a group where I would be happy to own each and every single pipe.

Banjo,

Your collection has such variation of smooth and blast, straight and bent and dark and light, it is very inspiring. Your bamboos are truly different in so many aspects that you can have a different smoking experience with each one. I've said this before, and I must reiterate, that I think you have a terrific eye for pipe aesthetics and I very much appreciate you sharing them with us.

No doubt,

fishnbanjo

your collection is totally top shelf!
I love looking at 'em all!
I really like that chubby one knuckle in the top pic, unique design there.
And a bamboo meer sounds really cool,

this one from Walt Cannoy is a show-stopper,

I'm not usually big on bamboo shanks, but that is a damn fine collection Fish!

I actually think I'm more impressed with the fly rods though, those are nice! Not to mention very pricey.
