Deniz's recent thread accumulated some valuable information on that matter.
Aside of that, I can not think of such guide being available.
If you have specific questions, you'd be better off asking.

There is an informative series on tobacco cellaring on YouTube that I think is well done. There are four parts. Here's a link to the first part, and the other three should be easy to find from there.

Blessings on the gent who made it, and those who like long expo's. It's over an hour long, the series.
It's said that Virginias cellar longest and best. English blends do fine, at least for 15 years. I don't smoke burleys, so paid no attention to them. That's a very quick and dirty, and doubtless more will be said to refine this broad statement.

Just watched the whole thing.
Kind of interesting. He covers the effects over time on different leaves.
Not so much on technique, though.
Thank the YouTube gods for that button to speed up the run time. I set it on 1.5 to make it

through...

My primer is buy what you can, when you can, while you can. Tobacco prices are only going to go up.

1. Buy all the good stuff.

2. Hide it away in Mason jars.

3. Never tell anyone.

4. Trespassers must be eaten.

5. Smoke what you like, like what you smoke...

Thanks, all, for the info.
And just so you know, Mr. Embers, I just ordered my first Black Frigate to try...
