I was always convinced there are three main tobacco types, Virginia, Burley and the Oriental group, with the dark fired just a curing type, namely the Kentucky and I considered the dark fired and Kentucky the same. But looking around it looks like dark fired might be a separate tobacco type and actually it looks like there is dark fired and a dark air cured. So what is it, is it really dark fired/air cured a different fourth type of tobacco in addition to the three main ones (I know Perique, Latakia and Cavendish refers to curing/processing types).
