iPhone? What's that... I still use two cans with a string...
HAHA!! Can you access the forum with it?
Nope, I can only call myself!
EYE phone ? I thought them things were to listen to?
I have a Motorola cliq and can access the web just need better eyes so I can see it . This is in HTML format so it is real web not phone based .The power of pentium 2 in the palm of your hand . This thing is a huge ball and chain .lol
I think it will work if you go straight to the forums url, and not the home page.
Please tell me if it works when you go here on your iphone:
http://pipesmagazine.com/forums
I have the site set up to display the home page special for the more bland cell phones so you see a plain version. I may kill that if you cannot access the forums by going direct to the above url.
Let me know please.
Kevin, all I get is a gray screen with the pipes magazine banner. I click the banner and it takes me back to the same page I could access from my old motorola.
Hmm. How about the rest of the site?
Maybe it is the forums that don't work?
Try it now. I turned off the mobile version.
The forums work for me on my Moto Q, but the display requires me to scroll far down.
I've been using an iPhone to access the forums for a few weeks now.
I've haven't tried posting from it, but read them from time to time when on a smoke break.
Just tried Kevin's link and it worked great (can't say I really enjoy the mobile version...too old school I suppose)
Kevin I'm sending this post from my phone. That seemed to do the trick. Thanks for your help.
Cool. Glad we got it worked out. Thanks for helping me decide to kill the old school mobile version.
LOL..actually, I was talking about myself (being old school)! I don't want to have to relearn how to navigate a site I'm used to looking at on my computer.
You guys with all of your fancy schmancy electronics...........
I'm glad I don't have an i-pod....
I'd never get anything done.
I have been using my Iphone ever since I joined. I am able to post and to surf the entire site with it. It is addicting though. My wife said I should have married my phone lol. Maybe I should have. It doesn't care if I smoke in the house, never talks back and does everything I ask it to do.
Here's my new laptop.
Nice Kevin, Do you have a fanny pack to carry it around in?
No, he has a "Little Red Wagon"!
LOL guys!
Re Kevin's Lap Top, he obviously Stole my idea:

Haven't heard from you for awhile Mate glad to see you back.PS that' my idea of a MAC
Go ahead Bash Macs
I learnt PC at same time I learnt Macs, I used to be Programmer, Analyst, System Engineer on Mainframes.
And I was heavy into handheld computers (PSION) so I know the whole spectrum.
LET ME PUT IT IN TERMS EVERY ONE HERE CAN UNDERSTAND
If you have not used Macs, it is comparable to not having smoked Latakia.
Like sex, it can not be explained, just experienced and enjoyed by discerning palettes
BACK TO STIR UP SOME SHIT
At my stage of life Ican't afford a MAC, but at least I can afford something with Laiakia
I post almost exclusively on an iPhone. You can set a Pipesmagazine.com icon by using the web browser to access the home page and then touching the little '+' sign on the bottom of the screen. There is also an available Pipe Tool app that is an easy (fun) way to learn about and keep track of your various tobacco blends. I hope this helps.
I use it too! I also use the Pipe Tool on my iPhone which is awesome!
Same here, I'm reading the forums daily from my iphone. Very handy.
I'm on the computer most of the day, but I also use my Motorola Droid, which is pretty cool.
Not a iPhone, but an iPod Touch. I don't have a computer on the back porch or in the garage, so if I'm surfing to PM.com while I'm smoking a pipe, it's on the Touch.
If it's when I should be working, it's on... oops, gotta go.
Simon
Amen to you all. As to the original question, make sure you have a good wifi signal or it won't work.
You must log in to post.
