Hi i have a lovely old long stemmed pipe with the words WHV eglish make enscribed on a silver band can't find any info on the internet about it

Welcome! If these guys don't know it, it ain't worth knowing.
This page notes a William Henry Vince, a tobacconist in Leeds c1905, but that's the best I got. Possibly the pipe was commissioned for sale in his shop. One of the others may be able to build on that?

It sounds like a fine pipe, at that age, if it is still in smokeable shape.
