After last weeks radio show for IPSD I was inspired to hunt for some estate pipes in the wild. I purchased 2 estate pipes at a local antique store, one is a Savinelli Punto Oro 515KS, and the other is an Peterson System Standard, however it doesn't have a shape number on it, unlike my newer Peterson pipe. I looked up the Peterson shape chart, and at least to my eyes, it doesn't really match up with any of the shapes, however I am certainly not an expert. If anyone here could give me a little information about the shape number, it would be very much appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Edit: Any tips on how to post pictures, it seems I don't know how to do that either...

Well that is a looker. Can you take a picture of the markings maybe one of the collectors can figure something out on that.

Hard to say from the photos, could also be a 312 or 314.But see the length, height, weight etc. on Peterson of Dublin`s

homepage for standard system.

I'm with you its hard to say. I thought it was a 312 at first and still could be. Beautiful pipe though.

Haha, looks like we are all in the same boat, I couldn't pin it down to one shape for sure. Thanks for the input on the shape, as well as how to properly upload/post pictures
