"Streamlined Baroque"
Chris is an absolute genius who has been busy re-inventing all sorts of stuff. This recent project involved putting the 17th century into a Vita-Mix blender with the 21st, running on high for a minute, and pouring the result through a "retain best of each" filter:

I don't care for acorn shapes at all. But THAT one I'd actually buy.
That was exactly my reaction.
Which in turn set my brayne-analyzer-thingie to working, and the tastefulness of the "Baroque elements incorporation" is what I settled on as the reason. :D

Sounds good, the Baroque elements thing-a-ma-bob. Here's the first image.

Call me crazy, but I'd rather see the plateau on the rim left "natural", not stained. :)

I liked this one, as well. He's done some other very original things with silver in the recent past as well. If you look at his Instagram feed...here's a few:

I haven't tried to copy and paste Instagram links before, so let's see if this works...

Gorgeous looking pipe. How much did it go for? When I click on the link it says "sold" next to the price ...

I have found that if you copy the listing description of a pipe on smokingpipes.com and put it into Google, the search listing often still has the list price of the pipe showing.
This one went for USD $600.
