She was purchased off Ebay about a month ago.

I just assumed it was a Bent Apple. Until...

Another member complimented "nice Hawkbill".

After reading the Official Hawkbill Pipe Thread I'm a little confused.

If anything it has the opposite of a tapering shank.
Any thoughts?

I've yet to score anything off ebay. Congratulations. I'd go with Apple. My understaning is the hawkbill features one, continuous bend formed by the shank and stem.Also, the stem is not traditional.

If you don't mind pm me what you paid for that beauty. There is an il ceppo on the bay right now with a crazy cool blast that I might want to take a shot at. Thanks for the info and pushing me along towards a possible pad. :)
