Oddly enough, I just bought two of those spice racks to hold the jars I keep my smaller samples in... I may need to pick up a couple more!

This is a good idea and has opened my eyes to other possibilities. I only have a couple pipes now, but plan on sticking with pipe smoking for a long time now. I had originally only been thinking of setting the pipes on something rather than hanging them. Time to keep my eyes peeled!

@Cortez: Actually, people do use egg cartons to dry out pipes after deep cleaning them with alcohol and salt.
And yes, with IKEA hacks, it is all too tempting to look for things to "improve." :)
