    How soon will it be before you are either denied treatment or coverage because of nicotine in your system. I say the odds are real good.

    It is simply a way to raise taxes as they stole all the money from social security and will not be able to pay all the people who are about to retire . The waste of the federal gov just boggles the mind .

    Pstlpkr, You understand it the way I understand it. If you don't have coverage the IRS, (yes the IRS!!!) will fine you until you comply with Federal guidelines. It looks like it's going to be a catch 22 situation. I was hoping and praying it wasn't going to pass, but it looks like it is. As if this wasn't a big enough intrusion in our lives, I'm afraid this is only the beginning. But health care is the gold ring. Once they control that, they control every facet of our lives.

    Better get ready gents, It looks like those pesky @#$$#@$* are going to get this BS pushed through. It blows my mind that such a measure could possibly be passed with there being so many people who don't want it. HMM.. I should run for office.

    Well I guess I'm screwed all the way around, I can't afford health Insurance for my family at $1200.00 a month, let alone pay the IRS their fines... SO... what to do... It seems like your screwed if you do, screwed if you don't...

    So, where are they going to house all these people that don't have insurance when they throw them in jail?

    Scotty, most people don't want the government controlling their health care but that doesn't matter to the socialist/fascists now running the country.

    As for the fines, I'll refuse to pay, go to jail and the government can support me in jail and my family on the outside. That will cost them a hell of alot more than it will cost me.

    That will cost them a hell of alot more than it will cost me.

    It's a shame that doesn't matter at all to them. There's been talk of some states trying to mediate on behalf of people who refuse to pay. I hope so, because I feel the same way as you.

    I can understand a "SHAKEUP" but damn, there has to be a better way than this...

    It seems as if the American people are like "sheep" being led to slaughter, willingly...

    I guess the rest of us are too, even if it's unwilling...

    I now see how and why some of the third world countries people act when they are unhappy with "choices" that their elected officials make or how they govern the people...

What, don't you schmucks think the Fed does a nice job with the Post Office, and Amtrak, and Social Security, and Medicare, and public education, and the air traffic control system, and the Transportation Safety Administration, and FEMA after hurricane Katrina, and Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac managing the housing "bubble", and the Criminal Justice System, and...

    I reckon there's two sides to every story. While I'm never surprised when people act like assholes, to the same extent, I'm not shocked when they lie.

    I'm not a Tea Party goer nor a 9-12er, but I was disappointed to hear this might have happened. I can respect them much more than the people stirring up trouble for the sake of smearing capitalism. Even if the slurs were said, they've been much more peaceful than some of their counterparts on the other end of the spectrum in recent years.

    Anthony Weiner has been doing a lot of talking saying the GOP is "a wholly owned subsidiary of the insurance industry".

    What's that about three fingers pointing right back?

    At least the bright side is that there will be a regime change shortly, good or bad, it'll be exciting. Of that, I'm fairly confident.

    Page 239 Line 14-24 HC Bill: Govt will reduce physician services for Medicaid Seniors. (Low-income and the poor are affected.)

    Page 241 Line 6-8 HC Bill: Doctors: It doesn't matter what specialty you have trained yourself in -- you will all be paid the same! (Just TRY to tell me that's not Socialism!)

    Page 253 Line 10-18: The Govt sets the value of a doctor's time, profession, judgment, etc. (Literally-- the value of humans.)

    Page 265 Sec 1131: The Govt mandates and controls productivity for "private" HC industries.

    Page 268 Sec 1141: The federal Govt regulates the rental and purchase of power driven

    Come November I have a feeling the majority in both houses will change. If not completely change then the socialist morons will be seriously hampered . I just hope I am not thinking wishfully on this .
