Of course it's a great smoker, but the nomenclature is just enough gone that I can't I.D. it! Made in France. It has a perched falcon on the side of stem. The remaining nomenclature on the bottom of the bowl is, "(illegible)LP" with the perched Falcon on the bottom superimposed over the letters. It's black, thick bowl, bent, rusticated and marked "Giant". Any and all help much appreciated!

Thanks chasineembers I checked out the web site and it's darn close to a Comoys Royal Falcon but just a LITTLE different on the logo - and mine's not made in London. So it's not a (super bargain priced) Comoy-and probably a bit of a Comoy rip-off. Thanks again and some day I'll figure out how to post pictures!

Others with more knowledge of pipe history will likely chime in, so stay tuned!
