If those were clays then it makes sense not to want to touch the bowl. especially with the speed of their smoking. Ouch. This only encourages us fast puffers who are trying to slow down and the encouragement is not in a good way!

Ok, how did they fit a prophylactic around their tongues? Because no man of average pain tolerance could stand that. At that rate you could blow a locomotive to top speed.

thats funny. i mean i smoke fast, but DAMN!! im usually done in about 30 min and the bowl is fairly warm. i try and slow down but find it hard if im not socializing and smoking with others. if im alone i just clench the pipe almost the whole time.
