Capstan Blue is a helluva solid smoke. Sweet but not cloying, nice round flavor, maybe a little dry cocoa. Whatever adjectives apply, very satisfying. Cube cut and tightly packed

I'm going to have to pick up a tin to try it out. I'm not a big VA kind of guy but from the reviews on here I have to say it sounds promising. I know Harris also really likes the stuff.

I hate Capstan Blue, that is why I only have 75 tins in stock.
The Gold to me is a nice flake with a nice citrus back bone, but it is similar to my other gold Virginia forward flakes like Dunhill flake so I am not cellaring it.

If anyone is having difficulties with the Blue, I would suggest smoking it in a group 4 Dublin. Tasted pretty awesome to me.

I am way late to this party - I just tried some today. This is a solid smoke, I would put it up there with Fribourg & Treyer Special Brown.
