Hi guys,

While being dragged through WalMart yesterday (and disliking every minute of it save one).

I came across these in the 50% off section of the Christmas display...

At $.99 I couldn't pass them up... Got four.

I figured they would serve very well as storage for those fresh opened tins.

There is also one that looks like it would hold a pound for $1.99.

They have an excellent seal.

Thought you guys might like to know.

@hawk: SuperWalMarts are the worst. As a guy, it's my official duty to kill it and drag it back to the cave as soon as possible. Being in a SuperWalMart is like being lost in that scene at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark that's run during the closing credits.
Anyhow, thanks for the good tip, Lawrence :)

Hey, that's a good price for a proper seal.

And I would be fine with Walmart, except for one thing.
I know the whole layout of my Walmart, it's been there for over 15 years in my home town and it hasn't changed much, yet after being in the store for about 30 seconds, where to find what I'm looking for starts to seem like it might be somewhere else.
Rod Serling probably would have made a Twilight Zone about Walmart, 'twere he still alive.

I dislike how much air will be left on the top, you really can't fill it over the rim...

The only reason to go to warmart is the entertainment. A circus freak show every time.

are they airtight? I just ordered a pound of hobbits weed so I need to figure out how to store it.

are they airtight?
I think they are.

They have a tight plastic seal.

As for the "too much air" idea...

I don't think that it matters much.

After all you need air to age the tobacco.

But, that's not my intended use.

Just a place to store the tobacco from freshly opened tins.

Should work just fine...
