That is an awesome rifle. I love lever actions, I don't know what it is about them, but they just look awesome to me. I don't hunt or fish, so the fill in the blank thing doesn't apply to me.

ya i always loved lever actions and bolt actions it just feels right having one more step before taking that perfect shot. semi autos i only like with im at a range target shooting but for hunting lever all the way. i also have a thing for single action revolvers. if you wanna do it right do it old school i always say.

The only thing I ever shot was a Wild Boar in Bandera TX. It was fun but I didnt think it was really fair. I waited in a blind until a pack of them walked by. So from about 100 meters out, I took him out. They're nasty beasts though. Smelly and MEAN.

...my trade gun, which is a flintlock smoothbore. I would love someday to hunt moose with it.

in Canada you get an extra two weeks deer hunting if you use a muzzle loader so lots of hunters have them here.

Funy thing is we were having a pretty mild winter until recently its not as cold as its been in the past but we are getting -15 to -20 C here and it sucks. yesterday i had to shovel the driveway twice and under all that wonderful snow(sarcasm) was shiny ice took a fall trying to salt it. 8O
