I just purchased some Trout Stream tobacco.

It is really moist (and smells great). I was curious as to how much I should allow it to dry.

Any opinions on the moisture range that will give the most flavorful results.

Unlike most here, I prefer my tobacco moist. I think freshly opened, moist tobacco packs much easier, and for me at least, offers a longer smoke.
If it were mine, I'd load up a bowl, and go enjoy it. Love Trout Stream.

I bought a pound of Trout Stream from P&C last week while it was on sale. I have not let it dry at all. It lights easily and stays lit. Good stuff! Hope you enjoy it.

I usually put mine out for 10 minutes before smoking. Try smoking TS in a cob, you won't be disappointed.

Most aromatics are pretty wet. I dont smoke much of them but when I do I usually let it dry for an hour or so before I smoke it. I tend to get some gurgling when I smoke it wet. I have heard pretty good things about this blend though, hope you enjoy.

I also picked up a pound of Trout Stream with the P&C sale - too good of a deal to pass up at $25/lb & I think it's still going. Jarred it up but sampled some fresh without drying & it was terrific. Tastes good, smells good, burns relatively clean, and leaves a wonderful room note. What's not to love?

I've never let my Trout Stream sit more than a couple of minutes after packing my pipe. Haven't had a lot of relight problems. Enjoy!

I finally got to smoke some of the Trout Stream.

My first attempt was less than stellar. Way to moist and could not keep it lit.

After a few hours dry time it smoked very well. All in all a nice aromatic.

Glad I bought some.
