How to Pack Escudo Navy De Luxe

I have gotten a tin of Navy De Luxe that's been sitting here for a few months ad I'm itching to give it a try. I have to questions.
1) What is the best way to pack "coin" or "medallion" flakes?
2) Would I be right in believing it would smoke best in a larger bowl? And I'm assuming larger diameter not taller - correct??

Fold and stuff, or then again you can rub it out too. What I'm trying to get at is there are many ways to do it, but just try a few and find out what you like best. I've heard square bowls for VaPer's, and short wide bowls for Englishes. Again, another preference not a hard and fast rule. Don't overthink it, just stuff and smoke.

I wondered the same thing before trying it my first time. I considered some options but ultimately landed on just rubbing it out into rough ribbons/small flakes. I find it simplest to do so on a plate and then pack like normal. Tried once to rub it out directly above the bowl but that didn't work well.

The middle option is to fold and stuff, then rub out a half-flake to use as "tinder" on top...

Deathmetal is on to it

i pop my tin and usually break up 2-3 coins just to give the bowl some "tinder"

Also I usually find VA and Va/Per's to smoke best in narrower bowls not wider. Aro's and Englishes for me smoke better in wider bowls.

I haven't had much luck yet with fold-and-stuff methods, so I generally rub out my Escudo. And since I love just sitting and enjoying the flavor, I tend to use larger bowls (both wider and taller - my "cobwarden" Country Gentleman is a favorite).

You put your big-boy pants on. You place the tobacco in your pipe and smoke it.
A lot of girls here will tell you to use a tall pipe. I say just use any pipe.

I roll two coins together then give them a twist and drop the broken tube into the pipe.
