For example, this area says it has 17,000 plus posts. I only see a week's worth when I click on it. Where are the rest of them and how do we get to them?

Some of those years-old threads are most interesting. It's a good idea to think about it before you revive any of them. Often, it's a good idea to start a new thread with an updated spin, so the discussion doesn't hinge on members and comments that are years old, especially if the thread or posts are numerous and/or long. With old threads, some or most of the posts are by people no longer active on Forums. Good to take the time to post a new thread and update the subject.
