So how did all you dad's spend your Father's Day?
My wife and kids got me a new hammock and stand so I put it up and tried it out. I poured me a glass of JD single barrel, loaded my Karsten Tarp with McClelland's Royal Cajun Ebony, and watched Thor on my Kindle Fire. It was as grand as it looks:

Cool photo....wow, now that's the way to do it.
Heard nothing from my daughter. My son called for me to come and bring the jumper cables to the gas station they were stuck at, then take him to go and get a new battery.

Wow sorry hobie1dog. I spent my father's day with my family and extended family in Michigan. Long trip but has been well worth it.

Got my father some Old Dublin by Petersons from the local B&M, we smoked outside and took turns talking to my brother over the phone. He laughed saying I blew perfect smoke rings like Gandulf out of my cob, he thought that was hillarious and he couldn't stop laughing about it.
That's kind of wierd, my whole extended family is from Michigan too. Definatley not a short trip!

My dad and I fished all day and visited my grandfathers grave. Was a somber but good outing.

It was my dads birthday do we had the family over (grandparents uncle etc) had a BBQ my dad and I fixed the lawn mower and drank coffee and I took a walk to smoke my new Peterson tankard. Wish my dad would have smoked with me but he quit it roughly 11 years ago. Oh well maybe he will get back into it one of these years.

The wife and kids went out to lunch with grandma and I had the whole morning to myself. Beautiful, sunny day in western New England -- 70 degrees and a slight breeze. Sat out on the back deck with a bowl of Solani 633 and a cup of coffee and thanked the good Lord for 5 beautiful children and a wonderful wife. Best Father's Day ever.

Went for a drive with my dog in my 1969 FJ40 this AM. Came back to home made sourdough pancakes and coffee. My wife was disappointed Because she had made a rather large order of some tobacco and pipes that she wanted to give to me today, but they have not arrived yet. It is ok I am patient. Then my oldest two children and I got our stuff ready to go dip netting later this week. Finished the day playing LEGOs with my younger boys before they went to bed. I think it was an awesome day! ::

Spent the afternoon with my Dad. He pulled out my baby pictures, we had lunch, and went to see "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel", his choice. We haven't gone to a movie together for over 30 years.

Spent the day relaxing with my lovely wife, who pampered me all day.
Due to work schedules, we celebrated Fathers Day on Saturday with my 3 daughters, their husbands, and my grandchildren. What a wonderful day it was, and as I previously posted, they surprised me with a beautiful Savinelli Saturnia Poker Pipe.
Life is Good and I am truly blessed...........

I spent some time with my Dad on saturday, he fell asleep in his recliner..LOL. Sunday, the wife and I went to her parents house for lunch..I spent some time with my FIL..he's a great guy.

I do not have children of my own, have a 20 yr old step daughter.. she didn't mention anything related to Father's day to me...thats ok, she has her own father anyway.

However, I did receive a thoughtful and caring "Happy Father's Day" message from my Mother-in-law about being a good stepdad to her granddaughter. It was nice to hear it from someone who doesn't have to say it.

My wife and seven kids gave me a wooden rocking chair for fathers day along with a Viking Classic Churchwarden to smoke while I enjoys the back porch. They they cooked me and my dad a pretty awesome bbq rib dinner. Great day.

I showed my dad how to work a video game emulator. We stayed up till probably 3AM playing Super Nintendo. It was very nostalgic, and he's much better at Super Mario Brothers than I am.. Just like when I was a kid.

Played golf on a beautiful day and a beautiful course. Otherwise I sat around on my porch and smoked a few pipes while my daughter played in the yard and my wonderful wife made lasagna. Drank a bottle of a nice Malbec and watched a movie with the family. Perfect day.

I took my 5-month old daughter on a stroll, we walked down Ship Creek Bridge to downtown Anchorage, stopped by the baccy shop for a tin of No5 and a diaper change, visited with Bob the big fluffy cat there, strolled around some the Saturday Market, bought some fudge for Momma ( she was home resting ). Puffed on a big bowl of PS LNF in my Aran 05 while strolling about. Went back up the hill and had a nice simple dinner. The weather was wonderful, 70s and breezy, although it did get rainy in the evening.

meech: Do you have a Wii? If so you can get those games from the Wii Store for relatively cheap. My kids are Mario fans so I got them the 25th Anniversary game which contain the first 3 Mario games in their entirety.
Anyway, I went to my parents' house for brunch, brought the driveway sealer up from the basement for my Dad, and watched an episode of Top Gear wit my kids when we got home. Most excellent day.

This was my 1st Father's day (My son is two months old). "He" got me a ticket to The Cubs Vs Red Sox Sunday night at Wrigley Field. It was great and the Red Sox won which made it even better!
