Just found out that I am going to be in Houston this weekend and my team (Cincy Bengals) are playing the Texans saturday. Gonna try to land a couple of tickets, which I know is going to be easier said than done. My question is, are there any cool sports bars to catch the game? It doesnt have to be a chain sports bar, like a BW's. A really cool local bar would be ok too.

Lol. Houston is huge. What area is "local"?

There are a ton of places in midtown and the heights. If you are in Cypress or Katy Coaches is good.

That's not too far from me. I live in Katy. At BW 8 and I10 there is a cool place called Yard House. Look it up. They have a huge selection of beers on tap and an outdoor and heated smoking section.

Welcome to Houston, when you come. I am no where close to your location, but we will be breathing the same air.

You should make an early Saturday run to the Briar Shoppe, if you can. In central Houston, and relatively easy to find.

The Yard House looks pretty sweet. It's right down the road, too!
