I was wandering does anyone have a traditional pipe or baccy. Maybe a time and a place they like to smoke on special occasions. I personally don't I just take it like any other day there are times I get to celebrate and times I don't.

I'm not much of a aromatic smoker, but tonight I will be smoking some H&H Eggnog infused with Bacardi 151.

Gonna be a day filled with CAO Moontrance and MacBaren 7 Seas Royal for me. I like the vanilla, nutty, fruity style aromatics this time of year.

My Grandpa always smoked a cherry blend on Christmas, so I try to smoke a bowel in honor of him.

Will probably be McBaren Seven Seas Royal In one of my new pipes. I still have a bad upper respitory infection that I have been fighting and haven't smoked anything in over a week. Thought I'd give it a try tonight.

+1 more on the MacBaren 7 Seas Royal...I should have my tin sometime during the week for New Year's puffing enjoyment! Might be a new tradition for me...start the New Year out by trying a new blend!

Since this is the first Christmas I've smoked I'm starting a new tradition, I have a hand carved pipe my dad got in Germany after he served in the Korean war, its never been smoked, I inherited it after he died in '02...I'm bout to fill it with valley vanilla & head out to the porch!

Yesterday I was bestowed a beautiful tin of Peterson's Holiday Season 2011. So for the next week or so it'll probably be all I'll smoke lol. I do plan on getting their holiday blend each year and mostly smoking it during the season. Great blend. Candied Fruit and Cinnamon. Smells good enough in the tin to eat! Flavour carries over well too. I've had samplings of the 2010 and 2009 blends which were good as well.

This. I don't have a special "holiday" tobacco or place either. It's just an all'round good day to smoke, so I smoke whatever tickles my fancy at the moment (which at this moment is 7 Seas Black Blend!)

I used to like cherry blends, because they reminded me of a Christmas where I got a new pipe and a couple bags of cherry blends, but my tastes have changed, and recently I was so grossed out by some CB Cherry that I can't imagine the thought of smoking cherry blends. Now it's whatever I'm in the mood for. My current cellar looks like this.

    C&D Epiphany
    C&D Yale Mixture
    Fader's Maharajah
    Fader's Tufted Puffin
    PS Lux Navy Flake
    PA
    1Q
    BCA
    MV1000
    CB-Regular
    Rum & Maple
    irish Creme

I started my day with a most appropriate smoke, Boswell's Christmas Cookie. I followed it up with some Boswell's Best. I smoke aromatics any time of year but especially around Christmas.

We had a house full of guests early on, so not much time for smoking. I had to drop my parents back off at their home later in the day, than head to another relatives home. I was crossing the "Little Antietam" Creek on the border of MD/PA and it looked so inviting, I just stopped for a quick smoke. I'm enjoying my first bowl in a Christmas Tinky (Boswells Magnum). I've fished this very spot many times as a teenager and caught some nice Brownies on either side of this bridge. A good spot for a first smoke, eh? And, I nice respite from the hustle/bustle of the holiday.
