True, but if I stopped watching sports every time someone in the league was guilty of being greedy or stupid I would be relegated to watching badminton.

Ottawa Senators fan here. Happy that it's back, but not planning on paying for tickets the rest of the season. I usually go to a few games per year, but I'm still peeved at the NHL.

Just remember that Canadians invented the doggy style position so that both participants could watch Hockey Night in Canada at the same time.

Actually there was a huge badminton scandal about a year and a half ago in the IPBA (International Professional Badminton Association). It happened when Ulrich Von Richenberger was accused of using of using Viagra as an agent to increase blood flow which allowed him to get more oxygen longer thus giving him more endurance at higher levels of competition. Even though that drug has not been banned by the IPBA is was frowned upon because he was an avid spokesman of not allowing any pro athlete any kind of a "enhancing" drugs. A major stain on the great sport of Badminton if you ask me. Really makes you think, if a badminton player will cheat then you really can't trust anyone.
But I do have to say I am really bored and I really don't know if there is a professional badminton circuit or not. :nana:

@Chris... Hockey on tv is great, but in person it's freaking awesome. Have fun, and enjoy the game. Judging from the picture of the Ballpark in Arlington in your avatar, you're local, so Fox Sports Southwest has the game on right now if you want a sneak peak.

Haven't seen hockey income time but I am going to be looking for it. All three of my degrees were earned at institutions where hockey was the flagship sport.

ha ha, it all came in from the participants in any sport being greedy or stupid and then the doggy style comment and Peckin mentioning badminton. Really it was the perfect storm!
