I love when that perfect moment arrives.
This morning it happened.
A crisp winter morning. The last third of a bowl of Old Gowrie. Sipped along with a cup of Earl Grey. I didn't want it to end. This is what it is all about.

I had one of those moments yesterday. Sitting in my screened-in porch with a bowl full of 1888 in a 1/2 bent Preben Holm pipe that burned it down to white ash. It was relatively cold out (by Virginia standards) and so on coming in I warmed up with some, yes, Earl Grey tea with a shot of Dickel 12 year old bourbon. Perfect combination.
