Picked this up at a local B&M while hunting new tobacco. Liked the shape and figured why not. Smokes good, the design gives you a slow, cool smoke. Not sure what shape this is called.

Looks good. See how you like the P-lip bit. I like the finish and stain a lot. There's a term for that slightly bell shaped bowl, but I can't remember it.

I have an almost identical H.I.S. pipe only mine is black and sans P-lip stem. I bought it in a joblot of estates and reckon it cost me all of £3:75.
Absolute bargain as it's a great smoker once I cleaned it up. The sandblasting is really well done apart from a small area at the front where the briar must have been softer.

SPC just calls it a bell shaped calabash, and I think even a trumpet flare, when describing some of Peterson's Sherlock XL11's. I too am curious to know if there is some standard nomenclature.
