I have been on a kick of Lane Limited Ready-Rubbed lately. I love the hint of tangy sweetness to it. Here's the rub (no pun intended): I am very sensitive to Va bite, and am wondering if that tangy sweetness is coming from a bit of Va, since LLRR will bite me a little if I don't smoke sooooooper slow. The vendors all list burley as the only component, but you know how that goes. So, other than "Smoke slower, dumbass!", what say the experts? Anyone seem to pick up a little Va in there?

Looking at TR, Jim seems to agree with you. I've only smoked the Sutliff offering, but never noticed it in that one.

Damn, I didn't check TR. Good call. I'll check out his review on there.
EDIT: Yep, there it is, right in the second line or so. If Jim says he tastes Va in there, I believe him.

I picked up on some Virginia as well. I really like this blend. It’s simple and smooth, sometimes that’s all I need
