I purchased a pouch last year. I added some 5 Brothers to tone down the harshness, but unfortunately it didn't help. I threw out the remainder. I do however like the regular Mixture 79. I received the tub about 3 yrs ago from the wife as a Christmas gift. She doesn't like the aroma and wishes she hadn't bought it for me.
mso, THAT WAS EXACTLY what I was wondering!! If it's cherry on top of licorice/anise, omg, my mind can't even really go there! Although I like War Horse Green with its anise and even regular Mixture 79 when the mood is strangely right. But cherry on top of that???... ewwwwwwwwwwww. But then maybe it's like eating bugs... if you can just get past that first "thang".
