Hello one and all. I have recently ordered several books by Shelby Foote, all coming from various American booksellers.
One arrived today in perfect condition but sadly for me is in Italian and not English.
The title is "Il Massacro Dei Cavalieri Grigi: La Battaglia Del Tennessee" of which I can only make a rough guess (clearly related to the Civil War) so if some kind soul would oblige me then I will then be able to contact the seller to advise them of their error.

Full marks to Warren, I now find it was indeed Shelby's book 'Shiloe'.
Thriftbooks of Chicago have now given me a full refund and obviously don't want the book back so if anyone wants it for free (it's in mint, unread condition) then just shout. All you pay is postage from the U.K. which I guess to be about £4.
