Is there a way to fix the stim that snapped off of my kaywoodie chinrester ? It broke apx. 2.5 inches from the very end . I don't particularly fancy the pipe much but I have seen very few of them , and I hate to see it dismembered . Any help would be greatly appreciated .

My, that's a terrible thing to have happen to any pipe; but a Kaywoodie chinrester makes things even more complicated.

They're an unusual pipe for the shape of the stem, and I'm assuming they had the "drinkless" stingers in them -- which

makes them nearly irreplaceable. Whatever the fix turns out to be, I'm sure the expense will exceed the value of the pipe.

If the pipe doesn't mean much to you, some Krazy Glue and a nice spot on the mantle seems to be in this pipe's future.

You might want to start here, even though the chinrester probably isn't made anymore:

  • S. M. Frank & Co. Inc.

    1000 N. Division Street,

    Box 789, Peekskill, NY 10566
