Newbie question: Recent widow who inherited about 75 pipes. Nice collection, including many Fischer's as we're from western New York. I have two pipes, however, that state nothing but:
Made in

London, England
A Conway? He has several, but they are clearly marked. Maybe just generic pipes for overseas distribution? But they seem very well crafted.
Any advice appreciated :)

Is it Comoy?
I've been working on my new Comoy's find from ebay and was thinking the same thing.
From Pipedia: (Thanks Pruss, for the link)
Made in London England. This is again stamped in a circle with “Made” at the top, “In” in the middle, and “London” at the bottom, with “England in a straight line beneath the F/B. I believe this stamp was first used in the export drive in the early 1950s, and I have not seen any pre-WW II Comoy’s stamped in this way.

Without pictures, we're just shooting at the dark.
Comoy pipes, and almost all of their seconds and shop specific lines, carry an iteration of Made in London England, as mentioned above. But they are far from the only British factory to stamp something similar. If, as Tuold references, that stamping is in the shape of a football, or a circle with England underneath, then it would speak to the pipe being of Comoy ilk.
Fire up the old smartphone and upload some pictures!
Or, head to either of these two online resources to find your stamping:

Thank you for your warm welcome. Here (I hope) is the photo of the imprint on one of the pipes. I hope this helps.
Many thanks! Susan

Hi Susan. Thanks for posting that picture. It is definitely putting us on the path. Is there any chance you can post photos of the entire pipe, including any additional markkings/stamping on the stem or shank? Some company's shapes are very identifiable, any additional images will help.
Thanks,

Here are photos of the two pipes. There are no other identifying marks on either other than the "Made in London, England."
I hope this helps.
Susan
