strave19, I'm humbled. Thank you! I'll be looking forward to it. And no biggie on the wait. I can't bitch about free tobacco!

Strave19, I just had Frog Morton. Dude, I can't even describe that stuff, it is awesome. Thanks for all the samples. I was a little afraid of it but dove in. No problem. what an incredible smoke. I will now be at least a Latakia smoker along with aro's. I will try the perique frog next.

Cool, definitely post up what you think about it.

    Glad you dig it Dhizzy!

Just tried that Squadron Leader you sent me for the first time. I thought it was great! Really smooth, no bite, not too much nicotine for this lightweight. Not a lot of latakia smoked-meat flavor... which is a good thing to me. I feel like it has more spicy/smokiness which I like. Believe it or not, I actually didn't think it was too far off from Frog Morton. Maybe a little bit richer... I'm not the most experienced smoker, but that's my take on it after only 1 bowl. Thanks again! I've been checking online daily in hopes of finding a tin of penzance now

    Paul,
by the time Jasongone and Bubba have had their way with the Box Pass box (I still have it... I'm putting some more stuff in it but have been strapped for time and money), you'll be eligible to partake.

Being new to pipes I would like to try almost anything. But, being new to pipes means I only have a couple to offer. Captain Black Gold and a little Stokkebye Black Vanilla. Also, a small tin of Blend No.5 from Sutliff Tobacco.

I would like to try the new Balkan Sobranie by J F Germain that lasted about 1/10 of a second on the internet, Im sure I will get to try it sometime, Have patience John, It will happen someday if you live long enough. I would also like to try stonehaven when it becomes available. I think I will have a better chance at the stonehaven than the balkan sobranie.

I'll join the fray with my request and a special reciprocal for trade. I've been wanting to sample Esoterica's Ramsgate, Blackpool, Woodgate, Dunbar, and Dorchester before committing to 8 ounce bags; in return I could send samples of any Nat Sherman blends directly from the store in NYC, any of which are superb.

I'd like to see the old Sobranie Reserve blends resurrected. They came in 100g tins: blue, red and green. Here's a pic of the Va.

The Balkan Sobranie Original Smoking Mixture and Balkan Sobranie 759. The reason I say this is because elsewhere people lament over these 2 blends and how good they were and nothing else compares to these blends. I just wanted to see out of curiosity if they were that good. Case in point, if they were that good I guess nobody would be buying anything else and these would be the only 2 blends on the market and it would still be production. Yea right.

If youre talking Mississippi Mud, that stuff is damn tasty but pretty strong. As for me, I have yet to try any of the frogs. I will probably be ordering a sample pack pretty soon. I also havent tried shortcut to mushrooms but received a sample the other day from a good friend.

Their service is top notch along with all the other site sponsors. When I put in my order, they sent a free one ounce sample of one of their own English blends called Chipman Hill, and that stuff is mighty tasty. If you ask Im sure they will give you a free sample of something that sounds good to you. Being a Virginia man, John Patton also has a pure Virginia that I think is called Quadruple Virginia. They come highly reccomended.

now im debating on getting either stormfront or frog morton on the bayou

Storm Front. No question about it. It can be ordered very cheap in bulk and is mighty tasty.

Edit: Damn! Didnt realize you snuck up on me

I would like to give Gawith Hoggarth Rum Flake a try if anyone out there has a little they could sample me. I'd be happy to return the favor with a little something out of my stash.

Stryder, I can send some Escudo if you'd like to try it. It's a coin cut tobacco as well. I also have Penzance, Firedance, Orlik Golden Sliced, and I think one or two others that I cannot think of right now if you'd like to sample something.

I'm definitely up for Christmas Cheer and the Sterling.

To all to have requested some blends from me...I will do my best to get them out. Unfortunately business has taken a larger hit then I was expecting, making it penny pinching time...and unfortunately the, albeit small, shipping costs add up quickly !!!

So, I do have your requests, I will send them out, but it may not be for a few weeks.

    Thanks for your patience!

Ahhhh shit. I bought a 100g tin of this recently and gave it away after smoking 5 pipe worths to the local B&M to hand out to anyone who wanted to try it. I'll swing by the shop tomorrow and see if it's all gone or if there is some left. If there is any left I'll grab you a handful and send it out!

I too would like to try some rumcake. I loke the sweeter tobaccos. Loke is between love and like- if you didn't know.

If you can't pack it, light it, and smoke it then why do it. It's a dieing art that must be rekindled in all of us as fortold by our forefathers.

Words to live by for all pipe smokers.
